NBA (2 meses):
Estancia de dos meses con los Denver Nuggets (NBA) entrenados por George Karl, durante la temporada 2012-13, como entrenador invitado. 

UNIVERSIDADES (3 meses):
Estancia en la universidad de Denver University (NCAA1) entrenados por Joe Scott, y Metro State (NCAA div2), durante la temporada 2012-13, como entrenador invitado y aprendiendo al lado de Tim Grgurich, uno de los mejores desarrolladores individuales de la NBA.

En ambas experiencias, NBA y universidades, estando presente en reuniones del staff técnico para la preparación de las sesiones de entrenamiento, los planes prepartido y las reuniones de evaluación post competición, además de presenciar las sesiones colectivas e individuales, los partidos, las charlas prepartido y las charlas técnicas en los intermedios y a la finalización de cada competición.

Coach Antonio Pérez was the first professional coach I ever had. Being new to the professional game and FIBA, he did a fantastic job of teaching me the concepts and skills necessary to succeed. He used basketball to build our relationship and it became clear he cared about me as a person and wanted to see me do well. During my career I was fortunate with a lot lot of great coaches, so when I signed towards the end of my career in the Spanish 2nd division, I didn’t really know what to expect.
